    We currently offer four Employee Resource Groups:

    • Dematic Women’s Network (DWN)

    • Professional Responsibility and Inclusion for Sexual Minorities (PRISM)
    • Support Excellence for Reservists and Veteran Employees (SERVE)

    We encourage employees to take active roles in these groups, providing leadership and networking opportunities throughout the organization. Activities include guest speakers, roundtable discussions, mentoring programs and more.

    Community Outreach

    Dematic has a long history of giving back to the communities where we live and work. The Dematic Community Outreach program creates a culture of caring, increases opportunities for team building and fosters communication among colleagues, all while positively impacting our local communities.

    The program centers its efforts around three pillars:

    • Building a Stronger Community
    • Education and Workforce
    • Environment and Sustainability

    Volunteering is a large component of our program. In the US, we provide employees with paid Volunteer Time Off to work at a nonprofit of their choosing. Many groups use this as a team-building activity.

    Along with volunteering, the Community Outreach program funds disaster relief (ex: Australia brush and wildfires) and grants driven by employee volunteerism. Additionally, FIRST – For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology serves as our corporate nonprofit partner. FIRST inspires youth to be science and technology leaders and innovators through mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills. Through this program, mentors help foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership. Last year alone our employees volunteered more than 500 hours with the organization serving as mentors, competition judges and team coaches.

    Wellness at Dematic


    The Dematic Wellness program strives to enrich employee’s environment with resources to improve health and gain a greater sense of well-being in three key areas: activity, nutrition and lifestyle. The program offers free personalized fitness and nutrition coaching as well as health education sessions on a wide variety of topics. Employees can win prizes by participating in challenges throughout the year, tune into fun virtual cooking demos, and access financial, mental and other wellbeing resources.
