Meyer & Meyer is an owner-managed family company headquartered in Osnabrück, Germany.
As one of the world’s leading
fashion logistics providers, the company

and sales-ready distribution of the goods to
the retail sector. Meyer & Meyer calls this its
“From Sheep to Shop Principle.”

for automotive, bicycles, and consumer
electronics. With about 2,000 employees,

needed to process 10,000 pieces

Our Solution
The solution for the 883,000 square
foot building includes several
standard technologies: a Clip & Pin
Conveyor, a Power-Rail-System
(Ladder Conveyor), and manual slick
rails in the system design.
The system also includes the
following:
- A newly developed high-speed
clip conveyor to achieve the
customer targets.
- Three matrix sorters to assure
the correct sequence of articles
sorted by shop, date of delivery,
article, color, size, storage position,
stock location, and sequences by
shop on stock position.
- Five bundle-bagging machines
to create bundles of hanging
garments.
- An automatic labeling unit to
create a label outside on the over
bag with all relevant information.
The system handles 120,000
garments-on-hangers within
12 hours.
