An essential element of our mission is to create a diverse and equitable supply chain that reflects our workforce, and the communities we serve and operate in, so Dematic can continue to grow and meet the needs of our customers.
We do this through engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders, partnering with external advocacy organizations, and developing programs that support our diverse business owners. Third-Party Certification and Resources
Suppliers with a diverse business designation must be certified by a third-party agency. Although certification is not required to do business with Dematic, it is required to participate in our supplier diversity program. Dematic accepts a wide variety of diverse certifications including but not limited to the following:
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
- National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA)
- National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
- Disability:IN
- WEConnect International (WEConnect)
- Federal, state, local government offices
- Public utility commissions

A third-party public certification via state, city, county, (and other) government entities in every state that certifies companies as diverse. Many of these agencies have low fees or free certifications. Third-party certification from a private-sector certification is from the following agencies:

Dematic partnered with Gainfront a 3rd party supplier portal company to assist us in tracking, growing, measuring, and reporting our diversity spend. Each diverse supplier must register via the Dematic Supplier Diversity Portal. By submitting your information, you will be entered into our supplier database. If we have an opportunity related to your submission, we will contact your organization for further information. A submission to the database does not guarantee a business opportunity.
