Loading trucks efficiently in reverse drop sequence

Delivering cased or crated products direct to small stores, hotels, restaurants, gas stations and similar creates particular challenges for a distribution center. Vehicles may need to stop at premises with no offloading facilities, perhaps on busy roads, and unload quickly and safely.

 

A particular requirement is the loading of cases onto the truck in reverse drop sequence. Dematic has developed solutions to allow sequenced yet efficient loose loading of trucks or building of dispatch pallets despite the need to offload as quickly as possible, possibly very heavy products, with the certainty of a correct order fulfillment, and managing to achieve all of the drops on the route that are required.
