Optimum ergonomics and picker efficiency

Pick rates can be increased significantly with goods-to-person systems.

This photo shows a pick station with one donor tote position, and one order carton. This combination ensures the maximum accuracy possible for order picking, as well as the highest pick rates and optimum ergonomics for the operator.

Dematic Multishuttle^®

The Dematic Multishuttle forms the engine for many Dematic goods-to-person systems. Products can be retrieved quickly and routed in sequence to the required pick station. Dematic Multishuttle technology is very flexible, redundant, and well proven.

High-Rate Goods-to-Person Station - 1

This pick station is ideal for picking split case items of all sizes. Pick rates of 1,000 OL/h can be achieved with this highly ergonomic design. The solution is optimised around a Dematic Multishuttle "engine", which feeds at the correct rate and sequences the products to the picker.

High-Rate Goods-to-Person Station - 2

This workstation is specially designed for smaller trays and smaller items picked at high rates. The station is fed with order cartons and product totes, and the whole MHE system is optimised to merge both the order cartons and product totes at the pick station simultaneously.

Picking / Kitting Station

In situations where other operator functions are required, for example check weighing, item scanning, bagging or packaging, then a special picking/kitting workstation is required. This allows space for the installation of any special equipment required, and often for special IT interfaces to manufacturing or ERP systems.
