Goods-to-Person Systems

The Dematic Multishuttle™ forms the engine for many Dematic goods-to-person systems. Products can be retrieved quickly and routed in sequence to the required pick station. Dematic Multishuttle technology is very flexible, redundant, and well proven.

The RapidPick™ System is a high rate “goods to person” order fulfillment system from Dematic. Engineered with modular components, it scales and expands when your requirements change.

This pick station is ideal for picking split case items of all sizes. Pick rates of 1,000 OL/h can be achieved with this highly ergonomic design. The solution is optimized around a Dematic Multishuttle "engine", which feeds at the correct rate and sequences the products to the picker.

This workstation is specially designed for smaller trays and smaller items picked at high rates. The station is fed with order cartons and product totes, and the whole MHE system is optimized to merge both the order cartons and product totes at the pick station simultaneously.

In situations where other operator functions are required, for example check weighing, item scanning, bagging or packaging, then a special picking/kitting workstation is required. This allows space for the installation of any special equipment required, and often for special IT interfaces to manufacturing or ERP systems.
