 RFID Solutions

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an automatic identification technology for all types of objects.

RFID allows data transfer between a small transponder (RFID Tag) attached to an object and a stationary RFID reader. If the RFID label or tag is moved within range of ther eader, an electromagnetic field activates the RFID tag and transmits the relevant data according to its code. Advanced RFID tags can also detect and report events, such as motion or temperature changes, extending their functionality beyond that of AutoID.

Wi-Fi-enabled RFID is revolutionising RTLS by offering a low-cost, standards-based technology. A Wi-Fi-based solution can track any type of asset, or even people, without the need for an expensive and difficult-to-install proprietary network. RTLS solutions typically use your existing wireless infrastructure, without any additional hardware.

Material flow control with RFID

 Material flow contral

From receipt of goods via picking to shipping – even complex material flows can be controlled by smart RFID technology. In order to achieve this each carrier (tray or pallet) is labeled with an RFID tag that contains identification and controls information such as transport destination and specific routing information.
