The yearly event "Salón Internacional de la Logística y de la Manutención – SIL" is an excellent opportunity for companies to inform themselves on the Spanish logistics market – on location. By far and away the largest professional event in the transport and logistics sector on the Iberian Peninsula, the SIL attracted nearly 1,000 exhibitors and almost 50,000 visitors. Dematic demonstrated a live C-L 100 and a 6-meter-high Lean Lift in operation, an original Multishuttle as well as a special, video-animated PC presentation on Dematic facilities and equipment, all of which were all enthusiastically received.
At the accompanying conference, entitled "Automated warehouses or conventional ones?", Pablo Camacho, Director Business Development of the Spanish Dematic office, detailed the advantages of automation. Together with Pedro Mir, responsible for logistics at Dematic’s customer Cobega, the audience of ca. 100 attentively noted the multifaceted advantages and benefits that Cobega has achieved with the automated Dematic facility.
