Dematic presents local intralogistics case studies

China’s intralogistics has an enormous demand for future-oriented technologies. The quantity of goods being turned round plus permanently rising productivity requirements and at the same time an infrastructure in need of improvement create an enormous demand for logistics technology. Dematic has already implemented a number of logistics solutions in the Asiatic area and is using CeMAT in Shanghai to put them on display. There will be live shows demonstrating the company’s innovative Pick-by-Voice technology and complementing the applications-oriented presentations of the services available. In addition to this our partner Teklogix China will be presenting its latest RF mobile computing devices. Dematic’s 48 m² Booth can be found in Hall 1.

CeMAT Asia will be taking place from 10 to 13 October 2006 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The main focus of the event is on materials handling, automation technology, transport systems and logistics.

The rise in the number of visitors, the continually growing exhibition space and number of exhibitors (2005: 274 companies from 21 different countries) from previous years shows how big the market for the logistics industry is in China. CeMAT Asia is now one of the leading trade fairs in the Asia-Pacific area.
