"Pick-by-Voice" Live Shows

Dematic has scored particular worldwide success with its IT-supported picking technology as demonstrated by more than 80 Pick-by-Voice installations and several thousand terminals that are already in operation. As in the case of "Pick-to-Light", in which the picking process is guided by optical signals, "Pick-by-Voice" (guided by spoken instructions) picking quality and productivity increases enormously. Miscounting, misreading the quantity and wrong items are a thing of the past – for the first time ever zero error picking can be achieved.

"Pick-by-Voice" is an innovative technology that can be incorporated in existing operating and sorting systems without any problem. Dematic is backing "Pick-by-Voice" but not only for the implementation of appropriate hardware and software but also for total incorporation with optimization through an order management system which is responsible for controlling the whole picking process plus the functions linked to it. The Return on Investment is generally achieved within a year.

Visitors to the fair can see a live demonstration of Pick-by-Voice picking on Booth 003 in Pavilion 14. There will be film clips explaining the concept and illustrating how it is implemented.

The annual International Technical Fair in the Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest can look back on a tradition of over 30 years.
