Johann Löttner, Chairman of the Dematic Board of Management presents Innovations in Picking Procedures

This year the 24th Dortmunder Gespräche, Germany’s longest-standing logistics trade event, will be bringing together four events under one umbrella: the "Intralogistics Software – Trends and Visions" trade forum, the "Warehouse Logistics" trade congress on Sept. 19, the Fraunhofer "Internet of Things" symposium on Sept. 20 and the "Intralogics" trade conference on Sept. 20, which will be focusing on material flow.

On September 19 Johann Löttner, Chairman of the Dematic Board of Management, will be presenting a paper to the full assembly at 11.45 entitled "High dynamic picking – Innovations in Picking Procedures".

Building on significant trends in the retail trade Mr Löttner will show clearly that the efficiency of traditional and future solutions in split case picking must be measured against these trends. He will point out the consequences and possibilities for future technology development and will give his views on the ROI requirements of the industry.

As in previous years an exhibition will take place alongside this year's event.
