Trends in picking technology

On the one hand, the variety of wholesale and retail goods is increasing greatly – but warehouse space available to merchants is decreasing equally. On the other hand, increasing numbers of corporate groups are operating superstores as well as mid-sized and small retail chains. This means that orders for goods are more and more differentiated and small numbers of products are in greater demand. The logistics branch is responding to these trends with original picking technologies for such goods. Depending on the branch and customer requirements, this leads to highly varied solutions in which split case picking plays an ever greater role.  We would like to present an area in which such innovative technology is being used.
