Dematic Tech Center

The new Dematic Tech Center was opened in February 2007. It is placed on the factory floor where modern material handling equipment can be used for process visualization.

Main purposes of the Tech Center are:

Technology test in a practical environment. Logistic processes can be simulated "live" as they are implemented later on site.
Tests of customer specific requirements such as the use of special load units for conveyors or the use of transportation material for RFID applications.
Showroom for Dematic IT portfolio.

Besides mechatronic components IT technology such as Pick-to-Light, Pick-by-Voice and SAP are available. With a wide range of possibilities the Dematic Tech Center offers the marketwide unique option for users to emulate and optimize processes in a realistic environment.
