Identification (RFID) is a technology for unique and contact less identification of any kind of objects via radio communication. This technology allows data transfer between a small transponder attached to the object (also known as RFID-label or RFID-tag) and a mostly firmly attached reader.
The reader generates an electro-magnetic field. If the transponder is moved within range of the reader, the magnetic field supplies the transponder with energy and activates its chip. The chip sends identifications signals according to its coding.
An integrated RFID system with reader, RFID-tag and integration with controls- and software system provides the advantages of this technology to all parts of the company logistics.
