Terms of Participation

This activation is intended as a community appreciation initiative connected to Dematic reaching approximately 250,000 LinkedIn followers.

The activation also supports industry discussion around the topic: 
“Breaking the Barriers to Automation.”

The participation period begins on: 
19.05.2026 at 09:00 CET

and ends on: 
29.05.2026 at 21:00 CET

Entries submitted outside the participation period will not be considered.

Eligible participants must:

• be at least 18 years old
• participate through their own LinkedIn account

Employees of all KION brands and affiliated companies, agencies, contractors, and partners directly involved in the execution of this activation are excluded from participation. 

Participation is free of charge and independent of any purchase.

To participate, users must:

• comment on the designated LinkedIn post with their own perspective related to the discussion topic

Liking or sharing the post is voluntary and not required for participation.

Automated entries, spam, offensive content, or content violating applicable laws or LinkedIn policies may be excluded. 

This activation is not a random lottery, sweepstake, or prize draw.

Following the participation period, Dematic will internally select at its sole discretion up to five (5) contributions considering amongst others the following criteria:

• relevance to the discussion topic
• originality
• quality and thoughtfulness of contribution

Selected participants will receive one limited-edition Dematic 3D model as a symbolic community appreciation item.

The organiser’s decision is final.

This item cannot be substituted, exchanged or redeemed for money.

Selected participants will be contacted via LinkedIn direct message between Monday 1st June and Tuesday 2nd June.

If a selected participant does not respond within 2 days after notification,

Dematic reserves the right to select an alternative participant.

Selected participants may be asked to provide shipping information solely for fulfilment purposes.

Personal data will:

• only be processed for execution of this activation
• not be publicly shared
• not be sold or transferred to third parties except where operationally necessary for shipment fulfilment
• be deleted once fulfilment is completed and no legal retention obligation exists

Participants’ names will not be publicly announced without explicit consent.

Dematic may reference anonymised or non-identifiable insights from submitted comments in follow-up communications.

Dematic reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the activation if technical, legal, or operational reasons require doing so.
