A singulator is a material handling product which transforms a bulk flow of items into one or more single lines of items correctly oriented and spaced. The Dematic P-S100 is a completely new and innovative solution for singulating items: As a stand-alone singulating unit it can be easily integrated into the existing systems and optimize the material flow.

Thanks to input information from a Vision System, that continuously monitors the position, orientation and dimensions of each item, a Motion Control System manages a matrix of belts to create the proper lateral and longitudinal gaps between items, without item damage or jams.

A vast range of configurations are available to suit every requirement.

Because items go straight from the truck into the material flow, without the need for a recirculation conveyor line, the PS 100 can deliver a guaranteed saving of over 60% of the footprint previously required.

The achievable throughput is up to 9,000 items/hour. The noise level is less then 68dB. Power consumption, the need for human intervention and the overall equipment costs are greatly reduced.
