Validation and Navigation with RFID

An alternative to the inventory of goods by RFID labels can be realized by the inversion of this principle. Hereby the tags are attached to the ground or shelf in a defined matrix.

The reader is attached to the fork lift truck and therefore mobile. Thus it is possible to reliably locate the fork lift truck within the matrix of RFID tags and to navigate the fork lift truck to the location of the designated goods.

Scanning of the goods is not required. The transport time per order gets reduced and additional fork lift truck capacities get available. Alongside with a reliable inventory management – each storage location gets identified by 100% - the system stands out by its little administration efforts.

Labeling is no longer required, since all goods are tracked indirectly. Time and costs are reduced while the options for comprehensive reports remain.
